Think you see with your eyes and taste with your tongue? Prepare to be amazed, confounded and confused as your kids find out that their senses aren’t as simple as they seem…and even discover some senses they never knew they had. You never know, you might even learn something yourself!
I have developed 6 sessions, each involving an introduction video (with demos) and a try-it-at-home worksheet to give your scientists-in-training the chance to explore their senses in more detail. The sessions are designed to be done once a week for 6 weeks, but feel free to use the resources however works best for you and your family.
I can't wait to share my passion and get more kids interested in the amazing world of brain science!
Because of the lockdown, we are making our science club free for key workers, and Pay-What-You-Can for everyone else. If you are able to contribute, we recommend a price of £30 per family.
What you need
Some basic materials- paper, scissors, thin card, colouring pencils etc. I have tried to keep it to things you are likely to have around the house. You can download a full kit list below.
Some of the activities need two people - so you might need a willing volunteer/ guinea pig, or to be one yourself!
